Eves Karydas

A singer and songwriter whose bright voice anchors an assertive, melodic strain of electro-pop, Hannah Karydas records under the name Eves Karydas and previously performed as Eves the Behavior. Her first full-length project under the Eves Karydas moniker arrived in 2018 with the album Summerskin.

Raised in Cairns, Australia, she moved with her family to Brisbane in her early teens. At fifteen she discovered she had synesthesia, experiencing sounds as colors. In 2015, at eighteen, she shifted to London, England, to focus on music, and the Dew Process label issued her self-titled debut EP as Eves the Behavior that same year.

Following the name change to Eves Karydas, she resurfaced in 2017 with the single “There for You,” co-produced by Chris Zane of Passion Pit and St. Lucia; the track later appeared on Summerskin. That year she opened for Dua Lipa across the Australian dates of Lipa’s global tour, then joined George Ezra for another run of Australian shows in early 2019 before launching her own headline dates. She resurfaced in June 2020 with the stripped-down pop anthem “Complicated,” produced by Magnus Lidehäll of Katy Perry and Kylie Minogue.
