Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Nicole Millar works as a soulful singer and songwriter whose smoky voice defines her electronic pop style. Recognition first reached her through vocals on Peking Duk’s triple-platinum 2014 single “High.” Comparable guest spots followed on well-received EDM tracks such as Emoh Instead’s “Out to Dry,” Cosmos Midnight’s “Phantasm,” the Golden Features’ “Tell Me,” and additional cuts. Her first solo single, “Wait,” appeared in 2015; the Tremble EP came out later that year and included the streaming hit that shares its name. The 2016 EP Communication yielded the hit single “Signals,” which she followed with “Blindfolded” in 2017. For the 2018 release “Gimme a Break,” Millar again collaborated with Dan Farber, producer of “Tremble.”
