Biography
Hailing from Sydney in New South Wales, Australia, Starley works as a dance-pop singer and songwriter. Passionate about music from her earliest years, she relocated to London to build a professional path and eventually collaborated with numerous producers and songwriters across the United Kingdom, Sweden, and the United States. Only after returning to Australia did her career gain real traction. In 2016 she served as the featured vocalist on Odd Mob's "Into You," a track that reached number one on the Australian club charts. She then signed with the Australian label Tinted Records; her solo debut single, the light, catchy pop tune "Call on Me," achieved wider international success by appearing on charts in over a dozen countries and drawing comparisons to Ellie Goulding. In 2017 Starley released her follow-up to "Call on Me," the Groove Theory-inspired "Touch Me." She delivered another new single, "Signs," in September 2018.
