Australia's CXLOE crafts emotive songs that blend polished, longing electro-pop textures with rougher alternative edges. She first entered the spotlight after competing on The X Factor, then issued her initial release, "Tough Love," in 2017, which helped drive millions of streams for later tracks such as 2018's "Show You" and 2019's "I Can't Have Nice Things."

Born Chloe Papandrea and raised in Sydney, she started performing vocals early and gained initial notice in 2014 as a contestant on the Australian edition of The X Factor. Following her exit from the show, she kept developing her career under the CXLOE moniker, teaming with Max Styler, Super Cruel, James Maas, and additional producers. The single "Tough Love" appeared in 2017, followed the next year by "Monster" and "Show You." The latter track, co-written and produced by Maroon 5's Sam Farrar, spread rapidly online and broadened her established fan base.

Further singles arrived in 2019, among them joint efforts with gnash on "SICK" and Lost Kings on "Ain't the Same," plus independent cuts "I Can't Have Nice Things" and "Low Blow." Preferring individual releases to full projects, CXLOE issued the mid-2020 track "12 Steps," which centers on themes of addiction.
