Mimi Webb, a British singer and songwriter, pairs her emotive vocals—colored by R&B phrasing—with meticulously built pop arrangements across her memorable tracks about romance and heartbreak. Online platforms propelled her work forward, generating chart placements and millions of streams ahead of her first EP, the 2021 U.K. Top Ten release Seven Shades of Heartbreak. The following year she unveiled the single “House on Fire” as a preview of her debut album Amelia, which appeared in 2023 alongside her nomination for Best New Talent at the Brit Awards.

Born Amelia Webb in 2000 in Kent, England, she displayed an early passion for music. Drawing from figures such as Adele and Amy Winehouse, she enrolled at Brighton Music College before pursuing a professional path. After signing with Epic Records she issued her first single, “Before I Go,” in April 2020. American social media personality Charli D’Amelio shared the track, triggering rapid attention that produced tens of millions of streams within months. Further singles followed, and her 2021 song “Good Without” entered the U.K. singles Top Ten. That October she released the EP Seven Shades of Heartbreak, which also climbed into the British Top Ten. In 2022 she returned to the U.K. Top 20 with “House on Fire” and “Ghost of You,” the opening tracks from her first full-length, Amelia, issued in 2023. Shortly before its arrival she earned a Brit Award nomination for Best New Talent. The album reached number four on the U.K. chart and yielded additional singles such as “Red Flags,” “Last Train to London (I Won’t Look Back),” and “Roles Reversed.” A standalone single titled “Mistake” appeared in 2024.
