Biography
From Oklahoma, PeelingFlesh fuses deathcore's rapid-fire aggression with slam metal's weighty rhythms and vintage hip-hop influences. Their noisy hybrid style pulls from nu-metal and rap-metal alongside the mixtape ethos of the 1980s and 1990s, while explosive stage shows have pushed the band into a leading role within slam metal. Formed in 2021 by vocalist Andrew Hileman, guitarists Tom Reyes and Chris Burgess, bassist Erik Rodriguez, and drummer Brandon Busa, the group put out several EPs and mixtapes such as Human Pudding (2022) and Pf Radio (2023) ahead of delivering its debut full-length, The G Code, in 2024.
