Phillip Larue

During the first years of the new millennium, Phillip LaRue performed a blend of alternative rock and contemporary Christian pop as one member of the sibling act LaRue. Once his sister married and the group disbanded, he moved to Florida to focus on production work. Phillip later moved back to Nashville, the city LaRue had used as its base in earlier years, and began a career on his own. His first solo release, Let the Road Pave Itself, appeared in 2009 and carried the same rock-inflected CCM sound that had marked his previous band.
