Polock

Valencia-based Polock channels an energetic Spanish fusion of dance-rock, indie pop, and new wave revival sounds. Their punchy guitars, summery keys, and knotty melodic hooks recall Phoenix, OK Go, Two Door Cinema Club, and Passion Pit. Formed in 2006 with Papu Sebastián on vocals, guitar, and keyboards, Marc Llinares on drums, and Pablo Silva on guitar and keyboards, the band reached international audiences in 2010 through the acclaimed debut album Getting Down from the Trees. Early 2014 saw the arrival of the single "Everlasting," previewing the sophomore full-length Rising Up that appeared that April, while the trio’s third studio long-player, the eagerly awaited Magnetic Overload, surfaced in 2017.
