Biography
The darkwave-electronic group Pulse Legion is made up of John Ricker, Samuel P., and Jason DM. The three musicians first assembled in 1996 amid the dark ambient and goth rock textures that would define their sound, doing so in Hawaii before shifting their operations to Los Angeles. COP International Records promoted the outfit’s 1997 debut album Evolve, after which Metropolis Records entered into an agreement with the band in 1999 that resulted in the release of the follow-up One Thing along with a fresh pressing of Evolve.
