Biography
In late 2010 the Los Angeles rap trio Rej3ctz—made up of Mowii, a onetime touring dancer for Madonna, along with Pee W33 and Bounc3—first drew notice when they posted the video for their low-slung single “Cat Daddy,” which also functioned as a dance, on YouTube. The track finally appeared on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart the following May, by which point the clip had accumulated 28 million views, helped in part by a cameo from Chris Brown. Around the same moment, reports indicated the group had an LA Leakers mixtape underway.
