Rosie

Known for a delicate, lyrical brand of pop, singer-songwriter Rosie first drew widespread notice through her breakout 2020 single “Never the 1,” which preceded the arrival of her debut EP, Songs for Healing, in 2023.

Born Rosie Scher in Nyack, New York, and also known as Stella Rose, she spent her childhood making music with her brother, singer-songwriter Matteo Scher. The siblings began appearing together at New York venues while she was still in her teens. In 2020 she launched a daily TikTok challenge in which she shared original material; several clips, among them the breakup anthem “Never the 1,” quickly spread online, and by year’s end she had built a substantial digital audience. The following year she issued “Potential,” the lead single from Songs for Healing, and set out on her first headlining tour.
