Biography
Emerging during the 1990s as a Cleveland vocal ensemble, the Rude Boys have registered gains on the pop and Urban Contemporary fronts alike. Levert discovered Larry Marcus, Melvin Sephus, and the brothers Edward Lee Banks and Joe Little III, then assisted in securing their contract with Atlantic. The 1990 album Rude Awakenings yielded the single "Written All Over Your Face," which reached number sixteen on the pop chart, while a tour alongside Levert occupied the remainder of that year. Rude House appeared in 1992, with Rude As Ever following in 1997. Larry Marcus is a cousin of B.B. King.
