Biography
After placing in the upper tier of contestants during the 2009 edition of Deutschland Sucht den Superstar, German pop singer Sarah Engels was removed from the competition before being reinstated and ultimately securing second place, an outcome that established her presence throughout the country. Her first studio album, Heartbeat, reached stores in June 2011, arriving after the release of the single “Call My Name” and featuring production from Dieter Bohlen.
