Seryn

Seryn, an energetic indie folk-pop sextet, originated in Denton, Texas, yet now operates from Nashville, Tennessee. Their music blends emotionally intense, harmony-rich pop with clear Americana inflections, calling to mind Typhoon, Mumford & Sons, and the Low Anthem. Nathan James Allen, Trenton Wheeler, Aaron David Stoner, Jenny Moscoso, Jordan Rochefort, and Scarlett Deering formed the group in 2010, drawing on guitar, ukulele, accordion, bass, violin, banjo, and inventive percussion. The ensemble delivered its first album, This Is Where We Are, in 2011. Regional listeners and critics responded with near-universal enthusiasm to both the record and the band’s dynamic concerts. Once the musicians had settled in Nashville, they released their follow-up studio album, Shadow Show, in 2015.
