Biography
Emerging from Los Angeles, California, the vibrant indie folk ensemble Magic Giant weaves an uplifting fusion of folk, pop, and rock that echoes the Lumineers, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, and Mumford & Sons. Multi-instrumentalists Austin Bisnow, Zambricki Li, and Brian Zaghi established the trio in 2014. Their self-titled debut EP surfaced in 2015 and drew notice through the single "Let It Burn," which NPR hailed as "a summer festival anthem." During 2016 the group sustained an intensive touring pace, appeared across the festival circuit, and scored another online success with "Set on Fire." That year also brought a recording contract with Razor & Tie and the announcement of plans for the band's first studio album in 2017.
