Biography
Shoplifting takes shape as a four-piece Seattle outfit whose members include Hannah Billie, Devin Welch, and Michelle Nolan, each formerly of Chromatics, along with Chris Pugmire, an ex-member of the Spores. The group generates an invigoratingly sharp and edgy new wave/punk sound. Their first EP appeared on Kill Rock Stars in the autumn of 2004. Early the following year brought Body Stories, their initial full-length release.
