Sneakbo

Agassi Odusina came into the world in 1992 in southwest London. The inventive rapper fused grime with Afro-beat and dancehall flavors, yielding a style that occasionally reached the U.K. singles charts beginning in 2011. Play Hard, the management company and label that also represented fellow London artist Chipmunk, noticed Sneakbo early and placed him on its roster. His debut single, "The Wave," surfaced in late 2011 while he served a short prison term after aggravated assault charges. Upon release he concentrated on extending that track's momentum through fresh recordings and European live dates. His clothing line Jetski Wave gained traction around the same time. By the close of 2012 he had appeared on D'banj's U.K. Top Ten hit "Oliver Twist" and scored his own first solo Top 40 entry with November's "Zim Zamma." Further collaboration with production duo Ill Blu brought summer 2013 success via the Shabba Ranks-sampling "Ring a Ling." The next year he joined Tujamo and Plastik Funk on the U.K. pop hit "Dr. Who!" and issued the full-length Certified, which included multiple Ill Blu productions plus a guest spot from Gappy Ranks. Mixtape JetSkiWave 2 followed in 2015, and the summery single "Too Cool (Right Here)," featuring Nyla, arrived in 2016.
