Biography
Youngs Teflon, the South London rapper, showed remarkable output during the opening phase of his career. Momentum built around 2010, when he dropped the Call of Duty and Over the Head mixtapes, both issued through Hill Productions—the label that housed many of the producers supplying his beats. Most of his subsequent projects appeared under his own independent banner. Following additional mixtape releases, he unveiled his first album, The Renaissance, in 2014, recruiting fresh South London producers outside his immediate circle to expand his sound. His 2015 output remained relentless, encompassing two further mixtapes plus the Jungle Book EP, the latter arriving via Trillin Records. Early 2016 brought two more mixtapes, January Sales and March Madness. By summer of that year he delivered his second studio album, Tracksuit Diaries, which rose to number five on the U.K. album charts.
