Stutterfly

Originally based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, Stutterfly comprised vocalist Chris Stickney, guitarist Bradyn Byron, bassist Jordan Chase, and drummer Craig Langerud. The Hollow demo surfaced in 2000, and by the time Broken in Pieces arrived two years later the quartet had already established a loyal audience for its righteous, hybridist brand of alt-metal and post-hardcore. Second guitarist Jason Ciolli joined in 2003, firming up the roster, while Ryan Loerke replaced Langerud on drums the next year. Maverick Records later signed the band, resulting in the June 2005 full-length And We Are Bled of Color, which the group promoted through several mid-summer Warped Tour appearances.
