Suchi navigates electronic dance music’s full range with a fluid, celebratory approach that frames the genre as an endless gathering and pulls audiences straight into its pulse. Her performances have carried her worldwide, from Boiler Room sessions to festivals on multiple continents, all shaped by a constantly shifting production aesthetic.

Suchi Ahuja’s unpredictable musical direction stems from her early environment. Raised in Oslo by an Indian family, she absorbed classical piano, Bollywood soundtracks, Western pop, and R&B throughout childhood. After relocating to London in 2019 for graphic-design studies, she plunged into a thriving club culture and traveled as far as Berlin for warehouse parties. Those interests were set aside when she moved to New York for an office position, until a post-pandemic realization prompted her to pursue DJing seriously.

Her debut EP, the breakbeat-driven Swift, appeared in 2021 and soon led to bookings at events ranging from Glastonbury to India’s Magnetic Fields. The next year she revisited her heritage on record with the Boxout.FM compilation Suchi Selects, which spotlighted nine Indian dance artists under her curation, and with the sparse single “Seher,” built around sampled vocals by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. She also delivered a warmly received Boiler Room set in Hyderabad that year. Further acclaim followed the 2023 prog-house EP Birdy Bell and its 2024 successor, Ghunghoo.
