Sval

Sval Rosenløw Eeg, a Norwegian pop singer and songwriter from Oslo, first captured national attention in 2011 as the twelve-year-old winner of the Melodi Grand Prix Junior competition. Performing the uptempo ballad “Tranger Deg” (“Need You”), she secured the top prize in the event reserved for children between eight and fifteen years old, propelling the track into the Norwegian singles chart’s Top Ten. As the daughter of writer Harald Rosenløw Eeg, she later issued further singles under the name Sval, among them the yearning “Fasitsvar” in 2014 and its successor “Mellom Oss” the following year.
