Tamara Walker, a singer and songwriter, emerged from modest beginnings. Ohio marked her birthplace, while Maryland served as the setting for her upbringing as the middle child among three sisters. The music of Elvis Presley, Tammy Wynette, and Roy Orbison filled her early years. Daily life intertwined with music due to her parents, who were musicians and singers themselves, alongside a commitment to education. At five years old, she began piano lessons, progressing to private vocal instruction by age twelve. This disciplined environment fueled her success in high school singing, leading to scholarships for prestigious programs at Julliard, Berklee, and Peabody. Remaining near home, she enrolled at Peabody before transferring to Townson University to obtain a bachelor's degree in Music Performance. Nashville became her destination following graduation, driven by an undisclosed aspiration to establish herself as a professional recording artist. Shortly after arriving, Curb Records offered her a contract. She collaborated with Bryan White for multiple appearances on the daytime soap opera The Bold & the Beautiful and featured in the TNN series 18 Wheels of Justice. Soundtracks for Coyote Ugly and Driven incorporated her tracks as well. Her official introduction to the music scene occurred in 2002 via the album Angel Eyes.
