Tatana

Born on October 7, 1976, as Tatana Sterbova in Uherske Hradiste in the former Czechoslovakia, DJ Tatana built a thriving career as a Switzerland-based house and trance DJ. A standout appearance at Zurich’s Street Parade in 1998 secured her a Warner contract for the mix CD Tatana the Mix, Vol. 1, which appeared that November and opened the door to numerous subsequent albums, mixes, and remixes. While she racked up multiple Swiss hits, broader international markets remained largely out of reach, though U.K.-based DJ magazines consistently praised her work. The 2007 album Variété reached the Top 20 in Die Schweiz.
