DJ Tatana

Tatana Sterbova came into the world on October 7, 1976, in Uherske Hradiste inside the former Czechoslovakia. Operating from Switzerland as DJ Tatana, she built a career in house and trance music. An appearance at the 1998 Street Parade in Zurich secured a Warner contract that produced the mix CD Tatana the Mix, Vol. 1 in November of that year, after which further albums, mixes, and remixes appeared regularly. While she collected numerous hits inside Switzerland, larger foreign markets remained out of reach, though U.K.-based DJ magazines offered favorable notice. Released in 2007, Variété reached the Top 20 in Die Schweiz.
