Milk Inc.

The Belgian group Milk Inc. first appeared on the scene in 1997 through their track "La Vache". A production collective that included the keyboardist Regi Penxten, born in 1976, along with Ivo Donckers and Filip Van Dueren, also born in 1976 and known as Philip Banks, assembled the project. Nikki Van Lier served as the initial singer yet was soon succeeded by model and actress Sofie Winters ahead of the release of "Free Your Mind". Ann Vervoort, born in 1977, contributed vocals to the third single "Inside Of Me" before being succeeded by ex-Secret Fantasy performer Linda Mertens of Tunesian descent. By 1999 the Belgian dance act had established itself as a leading seller on home ground. Wider recognition followed when the single "Walk On Water" reached No 10 on the UK charts.
