Pakito

Julien Ranouil performs as the French electro-pop act Pakito. Before his breakthrough, the DJ and producer operated in relative obscurity until his summer 2006 remix of Trans-X’s new wave-era cult classic “Living on Video” became a major European success, claiming the top spot on the pop charts in France and Spain. Its successor, “Moving on Stereo,” likewise reached the Top Ten in Finland and the Netherlands, after which Pakito released his long-awaited debut album, Video, at the end of the year. Further singles arrived in the wake of that project, among them “Electro Music” in 2008 and “Harmony” in 2009.
