Biography
In 2001 the Belgian electronica trio Lasgo first appeared on the scene, launching their career via the club and dance single “Something,” which arrived simultaneously in Belgium and Spain. MC Peter Luts, DJ David Vervoort (also known as Dave McCullen), and singer Evi Goffin formed the lineup and self-produced their opening album, Some Things, issued locally in November 2001; that record contained a follow-up success titled “Alone.” By April 2002 Lasgo had begun ascending the U.K. Top 40.
