Biography
In 1990 Techmaster P.E.B. issued his opening single, “Listen to the Music,” which fused Miami bass with European techno. The following year brought his first full-length release, Bass Computer. Selections such as “Power Bass Ultra Mix,” “Bassgasm,” and “Bad Bass Mix” are built to push any speaker system to its limits. Techmaster’s bass-driven approach has drawn comparisons to Wrecks-N-Effect, Beat Dominator, Funkmaster Flex, and Positive K.
Under the Newtown Music Group imprint he delivered It Came From Outer Bass in 1993. The album Bassgasm reached stores in 1995. Three years later came the next solo project, Bass Computer 2000, which was followed in 2000 by Suburban X. Across his career Techmaster has appeared on recordings alongside numerous rap and bass acts, among them the Bass Outlaws, Def Bass Drew, Bass Boy, and the gold and platinum record selling DJ Magic Mike.
