Biography
Terrible Things emerged as a melodic post-hardcore supergroup whose lineup drew from Hot Rod Circuit, Taking Back Sunday, and Coheed and Cambria. Guitarist-vocalists Andy Jackson and Fred Mascherino joined drummer Josh Eppard, three musicians already acquainted through years of shared road time with their earlier groups. Once schedules opened up for fresh projects, the trio recognized their combined experience gave them the foundation to succeed. They entered the studio with producer Jason Elkins to lay down their first full-length record. Issued in 2010, the self-titled debut unfolded as a concept album centered on a string of arsons that occurred in Mascherino’s hometown of Coatesville, PA.
