Biography
Emerging from Northern California in 2009, the punishing American death metal quartet the Kennedy Veil coalesced around mutual admiration for acts including Aborted, Cattle Decapitation, and Behemoth. Guitarist Casey Childers of Forktung, drummer Gabe Seeber from Alterbeast and Decrepit Birth, vocalist Cody Walker of Skribble, and bassist Shawn Peterson formed the original lineup, which delivered the independently issued debut album The Sentence of Their Conqueror in 2011. The group then aligned with California-based extreme metal label Unique Leader Records and, in 2012, commenced work on a follow-up featuring new vocalist Taylor Wientjes. Trinity of Falsehood appeared as the outcome in 2014. Three years afterward the band resurfaced with Imperium, which introduced vocalist Monte Barnard and bassist Tyler Hawkins in the studio for the first time.
