Biography
Hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden, the Sun Days comprise a five-piece guitar-driven outfit whose bright, tuneful indie pop carries an unhurried air suggestive of open-top drives and beachside strolls with dogs, a name that should not be mistaken for that of the English band the Sundays. Fronting the group with her effortless delivery is singer and model Elsa Fredriksson Holmgren, whose founding colleagues are Erik Bjarnar, Simon Boontham, Joe Enocsson, and Johan Ramnebrink. Following several independently issued singles, the band secured a contract with Run for Cover Records, which put out their debut full-length, titled simply Album, in March 2016.
