Biography
Hailing from Geneva, Switzerland, This Misery Garden fuses a potent blend of dark progressive heavy metal and hard rock with doomy post-grunge textures reminiscent of Katatonia, A Perfect Circle, Sevendust, and Metallica during its black album phase. The ensemble came together in 2005 and issued its first full-length album, Another Great Day on Earth, through Galileo Records in 2009. Its second album, Cornerstone, appeared in 2013 on Season of Mist, after which the group rejoined Galileo for the 2017 release Hyperstitious.
