Trev Rich

Trev Rich emerged as a rapper shaped by the streets of Denver, Colorado. During his late teens and early twenties he performed under the name Rockie, and in those years he developed rapidly while issuing a string of solo and joint projects that spanned the early and middle part of the decade. Not Quite, the Heights series, King Kong and Godzilla (with Innerstate Ike), and To Make a Long Story Short all appeared among them. Although a 2015 tour alongside Joe Budden lifted his visibility considerably, an even larger breakthrough arrived the following year when he met Birdman at Miami’s Hit Factory studio. The Cash Money co-founder, struck by what he heard, eventually placed the rapper on the imprint’s roster distributed through Universal. Rich promptly began work on his first full-length project for the label, and that effort, Balance, reached listeners in August 2017.
