Biography
Trevor Guthrie, a Canadian singer and songwriter, first gained notice as the vocalist for the pop group soulDecision. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he took up piano during childhood and later studied guitar in high school. In his position as lead singer of soulDecision, Guthrie performed on the band's debut release from 2000, No One Does It Better, and composed several of its tracks, among them the hits "Faded" and "Ooh, It's Kinda Crazy." Once the act issued a second album, soulDecision dissolved, leading Guthrie to launch a solo career. He contributed guest vocals to electronic artist Armin van Buuren's 2013 album Intense, appearing on the song "This Is What It Feels Like."
