Biography
The Vancouver, Canada-based Twin River crafts psychedelically colored indie pop that first emerged in a folk-rooted duo format limited to guitarist/vocalists Courtney Ewan Bromley and Andrew Bishop. Their gentler, more acoustic-leaning early guise appears throughout the 2012 debut EP Rough Gold, yet the summer 2013 recording of the full-length Should the Light Go Out brought in drummer Dustin Bromley, bassist Malcolm Jack, and keyboardist/percussionist Rebecca Law Gray. This broadened configuration steered the group toward a sharper, catchier direction audible on Should the Light Go Out, issued in early 2015.
