Biography
The husband-and-wife team of Nathan and Christy Nockles made up the CCM act Watermark. First known as Watershed, the pair cultivated a devoted local following in their hometown of Houston before achieving broader notice in 1998 as an opener for Point of Grace. Following their rebranding as Watermark and a contract with Rocketown, they put out a self-titled debut in the fall of 1998, which Epic reissued early the next year. The acoustic-driven All Things New appeared in mid-2000. During the two years that followed, Watermark confronted multiple shifts, tightening their usual pop style into strict, sophisticated melodies while beginning to raise a family. Their third album, Constant, arrived in early 2002 and embodied the duo’s newfound glow.
