Biography
A Love Ends Suicide originated in West Covina, California, merging screamo and metalcore with the flashy guitar technique more characteristic of straight-up heavy metal. The ensemble launched in 2004, curiously composed of four brothers with two last names—vocalist John Cairoli, guitarist Oscar Cairoli, bassist/clean vocalist Emir Abdo, and drummer Andres Abdo—alongside second guitarist Matt Garcia. The following year they released an independent debut titled The Cycle of Hope, then secured a contract with indie powerhouse Metal Blade to issue their second full-length, In the Disaster.
