Biography
The origins of After Midnight Project’s rhythmic, punk-inspired hard rock date to 2004, when vocalist Jason Evigan, drummer Dan Morris, bassist TJ Armstrong, and guitarists Spencer Bastian and Christian Meadows gathered for their first rehearsal in Los Angeles. Persistent road work and the release of their introductory EP, The Becoming, secured a Universal Motown contract by 2007, sending the band into the studio to record a debut full-length. That album, Let’s Build Something to Break, appeared as their major-label bow in August 2009, after which the group promoted the set by appearing on that summer’s Warped Tour.
