Biography
Hailing from Colorado, Air Dubai blend synth pop and hip-hop into a boundary-crossing sound. What started as an electronic, sample-driven duo of vocalists/rappers Julian Church and Jon Shockness later expanded into a six-member group recognized for its high-energy stage performances. Their first mixtape arrived in 2008, after which the expanded lineup delivered the full-length album Wonder Age in 2010. The EP Warning followed in 2012. During 2014 the band appeared on the Warped Tour and issued the Dwight Baker-produced Be Calm through Hopeless Records.
