Akinyele

Akinyele, whose legal name is Akinyele Adams, carved out a place in gangsta-funk by extending the explicit sexual themes first popularized in 2 Live Crew’s profane catalog, issuing his own ode to the subject on the 1993 debut album Vagina Diner. Interscope released the project, and Bomb appeared twelve months afterward. Relocating to Zoo Records earned him underground airplay success through the title cut of the 1996 EP Put It in Your Mouth. Aktapuss: The Soundtrack arrived in 1999.
