Biography
Born into a prominent musical lineage as the granddaughter of celebrated Mexican performer Mario Montes, the daughter of Tejano music legend Roberto Pulido, and the sister of popular Bobby Pulido, Alma Pulido grew up in the United States and entered the entertainment world while still young. Her first release came in 1997 as a self-titled album, which brought her the Tejano Rising Star award at the Tejano Music Awards in 1998. The next year she issued Canciones del Alma, helmed by producer José Luis Ayala and anchored by the hit single "A Quien Merezca Mi Amor."
