Biography
Originating from McCalla, Alabama, Ashla Taylor performs as a contemporary country-pop singer and issued her initial EP titled Truth Is... during 2017. As a youngster, Taylor began her vocal journey by taking part in the Pentecostal choir at her father's church. Although drawn to pop and R&B influences, her path led toward country music, prompting a relocation to Nashville once she completed her studies at Samford University in her early adulthood. She laid down initial tracks in the Music City alongside Will Rambeaux and Sherrie Austin before completing the project in Asbury Park, New Jersey under the guidance of producer Steve Greenwell. Truth Is... ultimately came out in 2017.
