Biography
In 2010 the Canadian band Baptists assembled, drawn to a crusty strain of hardcore thick with sludge. The Vancouver, British Columbia quartet issued its first recording for Southern Lord in 2011, a 7" single, then took the punishing sound on tour. Their debut full-length Bushcraft arrived in 2013, and the follow-up album Bloodmines appeared the next year.
