Betagarri

Originating in the Basque Country during the early 1990s, the eight-piece ska-punk outfit Betagarri came together at that time. The ensemble cut its debut demo tape in 1994, which prompted a deal with the independent Mil A Gritos label established the next year by Soziedad Alkoholika. Under that imprint the band delivered a self-titled album in 1997. Two years afterward Betagarri switched to Esan Ozanki Records and released 80/00 along with 2000’s Freaky Festa.
