Narco

Hailing from Spain, the rap-metal outfit Narco originated in 1996 within Sevilla's La Macarena neighborhood. Their first album, Satan Vive, appeared in 1997 under the guidance of producer Jesus Arispont and through the imprint Bruto Records. Immersing themselves in the local hardcore and metal community, the group delivered tracks whose lyrics reflected the members' personal backgrounds as well as hardships confronting residents in surrounding slums. Narco captured Talego Pon Pon during 1999 sessions held in Madrid, with Chaparron de Plomo arriving in 2001.
