Betontod

Active on Germany's punk scene in concert since the early '90s, Betontod features frontman Oliver Meister alongside guitarists Frank Vohwinkel and Mario Schmelz, bassist Adam Dera, and drummer Maik Feldmann. The group came together in Rheinberg in 1990 under the initial names Extrem and Sniffin' Kills, though nine years passed before the arrival of their first full-length release, Hier Kommt Arger. Subsequent efforts Stoppt Uns Wenn Ihr Könnt! in 2001 and Schwarzes Blut in 2006 preceded their initial appearance on the German charts with 2010's Glaubeliebehoffnung. Strong performances at Force-Attack Festival, Schlachtrufe BRD Tour, and Ruhrpott Rodeo helped set the stage for fifth album Antirockstars, which emerged in 2011 as the most successful title in their gradual ascent.
