Biography
Formed by Seattle MC Gifted Gab and San Francisco’s Blimes Brixton, the rap duo Blimes and Gab united through a shared appreciation for classic hip-hop and the interactive energy of its back-and-forth delivery. Introduced online by a mutual friend in 2016, the two connected at once and arranged an in-person meeting the next year that strengthened their close bond. Their debut single “Nasty” surfaced in 2018, after which additional tracks followed in steady succession before the pair delivered their first full-length project, the 2020 album Talk About It.
