Biography
Born in Michigan and raised in Florida, the sweet-voiced female rapper Nitty Scott, MC relocated to Brooklyn at age 17 while finishing her senior year at art school. Social networking helped her freestyles attract an online following that intensified in 2011, when she released the mixtape The Cassette Chronicles; the project functioned as a lead-in to her Boombox Diaries, Vol. 1 EP, slated for release that summer.
