Biography
Devante McCreary, who records as BossMan Dlow, emerged from Port Salerno, Florida, with audacious and unflinching recordings that showcase his fluid, detached delivery alongside outsized verses. Early notice arrived through cuts such as "Rotation" and "The Biggest," both drawn from the 2023 debut album Too Slippery. Visibility surged further with the 2024 viral track "Get in with Me," which entered Billboard rankings and simultaneously lifted the companion 2023 project 2 Slippery. Building on that momentum, he issued the gold-certified album Mr. Beat the Road in March 2024, after which additional singles including "The Biggest Pt. 2" appeared.
Born Devante McCreary in Port Salerno, Florida, he first experimented with music production inside a family studio in 2019 and issued his initial recordings the following year in 2020. Early releases such as "I Ain't Going Broke" set the stage for the 2023 full-length Too Slippery and its same-year counterpart 2 Slippery. The 2024 double-sided single pairing "Get in with Me" with "Piss Me Off" established his wider profile through millions of streams while "Get in with Me" advanced on the Billboard Hot 100 over successive weeks. After entering the chart in February 2024, the track climbed to a peak of number 49. That same month’s attention carried 2 Slippery onto the Billboard 200 at number 197. Mr. Beat the Road, which contained "Get in with Me," arrived in March and featured guest appearances from Sexyy Red, Wizz Havinn, and Rob49. The album later reached number 20 on the Billboard 200 and earned gold certification. He followed with the singles "Finesse" featuring GloRilla, "PJ" featuring Lil Baby, and "The Biggest Pt. 2."
