Causes

After moving from his native London to Utrecht in the Netherlands during 2008, British singer-songwriter Rupert Blackman issued a solo record via Play It Again Sam Records and later established the group Causes during 2013. Joining forces with fellow members Jan Schröder, Simon Boeing-Messing, and Robert Pronk, Blackman began developing delicate, atmospheric indie pop compositions alongside producer Ian Gimble, known for his work with Mumford & Sons and Daughter. The outfit unveiled its first single, titled "Teach Me How to Dance," toward the end of 2014, while planning to launch the complete album in the first part of 2015.
